The Idaho Family Community Engagement Conference & has become one of the most anticipated annual educator training events. This event seeks to strengthen family and community strategies and methods in each school district. It brings together 450 school administrators, teachers, school counselors, school community resource workers and community organizations.

Habitat for Humanity of the Boise Valley also collaborates with and grows the Ada County community by organizing and participating in as many local events as possible. They offer a free online platform for non-profit businesses and charitable events in Idaho to raise awareness and encourage charitable funding for people in need from the Idaho 501 (c) organization. FarWest is located in its lush seven-acre garden center on State Street in Boise. They host an informal evening of fun, good wine, beer and food with silent, live auctions.
